Hadise Açıkgöz (born 22 October 1985 in Mol, Belgium), simply known as Hadise, is a Belgian-Turkish TMF award winning R&B singer-songwriter and an occasional presenter.
In 2005, Hadise released her debut album, "Sweat". The album spawned five hit singles, most notably "Milk Chocolate Girl", "Bad Boy", and "Stir Me Up" for which Hadise won a TMF Award in Belgium and an "Altın Kelebek" (Golden Butterfly) award in Turkey.
Hadise then released her self-titled album, "Hadise", in both Belgium and Turkey. This album scored the hit singles "A Good Kiss" ("Deli Oğlan"), "My Body", and "Aşkkolik".
Hadise is currently producing her third studio album and represented Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "Düm Tek Tek" where she finished 4th. Hadise became the first singer not born in Turkey to represent the country at the contest. She is known for her unique songs which experiment with R&B and dance music. She also writes the lyrics for most of her songs which earned her critical acclaim.
